Job Description

THE JOB

Boundless Impact is seeking a Content Editor to contribute to our industry research and climate impact assessments. The successful candidate will be an experienced research writer or editor who is adept at performing quickly under pressure. He or she will be able to edit copy for content and style, and liaise with the Boundless Researchers to produce timely, compelling and insightful content that appeals to our customer base of private and institutional investors.

 

WHO WE ARE

Boundless Impact is a ten person market intelligence and impact analytics firm that provides quantitative and evidence-based information for investors, companies, and funds. Using Scope 3 analysis, we provide clear and accurate insights on climate and business risks in a company’s supply chain. We currently have sixty family offices as subscribers, and are expecting significant growth in the next twelve months as we extend our subscriptions to a whole new universe of private investors, companies and funds.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Copy edit and proofread core industry and market research reports, as well as all marketing materials including bulletins, social, and website

● Copy edit and proofread charts, graphs, and data representation verifying correctness

● Verify factual correctness of information

● Check content for style, readability, and adherence to brand voice guidelines

● Revise content to improve clarity and readability

● Strong on timelines and deadlines

● Time Commitment: Part-time or Full-time depending on candidate’s experience and availability

 

REQUIREMENTS

● 5 - 6 years of copy editing or related experience

● Experience with copyediting, writing, proofreading, and content development;

● Strong copyediting, writing, proofreading, and organizational skills

● Strong skills in standard office applications

● Ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple projects without sacrificing quality;

● Attention to detail and good organizational skills

● Exceptional research skills;

● Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.

● Ability to be an effective member of project teams.
