I'm Holden. I'm a curious individual, and I love learning across various subjects. Nature, for me, is the best classroom. I've become fairly adept at bird identification (mostly of the southwest) in the past two years, with the proper tools to learn by sight and by sound quickly. My last semester in college consisted of ornithology study (where I learned to love birding) and also a plant taxonomy course, which required me to independently collect multiple specimens of native southwest plants and preserve them with a plant press. I've held various other positions over the years interacting with the public and using my customer service skills to defuse negative situations that often arose in that field.
