Personal Summary

I am a procurement and supply chain professional with expertise in vendor relationship management, contract negotiation, and co-worker/stakeholder management. My capacity to develop new strategic thinking in my role is driven by my ability to see the full cross functional landscape and identifying the key resources required to execute on a vision. When thinking strategically I focus on having a balance between visionary and down to earth planner that helps deliver what the business needs.

 

I previously lead sourcing for the Biscuits category in External Manufacturing for Mondelez North America.  In this role I managed the production of a portfolio of products in excess of 350 SKUs, equating to 300MM lbs of products across 10 bakeries in the US. In addition to traditional Procurement responsibilities, I was tasked with facilitating innovation with external manufacturers.  During my tenure we launched more than 100 new SKUs with external partners.  Successfully facilitating innovation required that I have strong capabilities in the following areas:  New Product Development, existing product change management, optimizing the new product commercialization process, managing trials, creation and ongoing validation of production financials.

Lead a 10-person cross-functional team tasked with ideating, developing, and validating solutions to deliver more than $100MM in annualized supply chain savings across 250MM pounds of production

The main point of contact for the broader project team (100+ people) including all major functional areas within the company (Sales, Marketing, Quality, R&D, Legal, Engineering, Finance.)Facilitated numerous working sessions with groups of 50 – 75 senior managers involved in validating and supporting the supply chain strategic plan.

 Worked closely with Legal and HR to develop contingency plans that deliver the lowest possible impact to supply if interruptions in labor availability were to materialize.

  Starting with ideation, and ultimately culminating in approval, worked with North American Senior Leadership to present the project to Global Senior Leadership, and Mondelez’s Board of Directors
